Effective Date: September 13, 2026

FairOS Event Technologies LLC (“FairOS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you use websites, applications, software, and related services provided by FairOS, including FairOS: Compete and other services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Services”).

It also explains how FairOS handles information provided through the Services on behalf of participating fairs, fairgrounds, festivals, associations, event operators, and other organizations (“Event Operators”).

5. Information About Children and Minors

FairOS Services may process information about minors because minors participate in fairs, youth competitions, educational programs, clubs, agricultural programs, and other activities administered using our technology.

FairOS accounts are intended for adults and authorized representatives. Children under 13 are not permitted to independently create FairOS accounts or directly provide personal information through FairOS: Compete.

Information about a child should instead be provided by a parent, legal guardian, teacher, school, club, organization, or other adult who is authorized to act on the child's behalf.

An adult who submits information about a minor represents that the adult has the authority necessary to provide that information and to take the requested actions.

We use information about minors for purposes such as:

  • establishing eligibility;
  • administering competition entries;

  • maintaining entry records;
  • communicating with authorized adults;
  • receiving and checking in exhibits;
  • administering judging, awards, or premiums when applicable; and

FairOS does not intend FairOS: Compete to be a service through which children under 13 independently provide personal information to FairOS.

If you believe a child under 13 has independently created an account or directly submitted personal information to FairOS without appropriate authorization, contact us promptly at privacy@getfairos.com.

We will review the circumstances and take appropriate action consistent with applicable law.

6. When We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances.

We may disclose information if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

  • comply with law or legal process;
  • respond to a lawful governmental request;
  • protect the rights, safety, or property of FairOS, an Event Operator, users, or others;
  • investigate fraud or security incidents; or
  • enforce agreements.

D. Business Transactions

If FairOS is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, personal information may be disclosed as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

E. With Your Direction or Consent

We may disclose information when you direct us to do so or otherwise provide appropriate consent.

7. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

FairOS does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

FairOS does not use personal information collected through FairOS: Compete to operate an advertising marketplace.

We do not knowingly sell personal information belonging to children or minors.

If our practices change in a manner that creates additional rights under applicable privacy law, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide legally required choices or notices.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

FairOS may use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies that are reasonably necessary to:

  • authenticate users;
  • maintain sessions;
  • remember settings;
  • protect account security;
  • operate application functionality; and
  • diagnose technical problems.

Some integrated service providers may use similar technologies as part of providing their services.

Where applicable law requires consent or additional choices for non-essential technologies, we will provide those choices as appropriate.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:

  • provide the Services;
  • administer event records;

When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize, or de-identify it consistent with applicable law and operational requirements.

10. Data Security

FairOS uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

These measures may include:

No Internet-connected service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.

11. Data Accuracy

You may be able to review or update certain account or exhibitor information through the Services.

Some information may become locked after submission because it forms part of an official registration, competition, transaction, or audit record.

When information cannot be directly edited, contact FairOS support or the applicable Event Operator for assistance.

12. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights concerning your personal information.

These may include rights to:

  • request access to personal information;
  • request information about how personal information is used or disclosed;
  • request correction of inaccurate information;
  • request deletion of certain information;
  • obtain a copy of certain information;
  • object to or restrict certain processing; or
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

These rights are subject to applicable exceptions.

For example, we may need to retain information to complete transactions, maintain official competition or financial records, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, or establish or defend legal claims.

To make a privacy request, contact:

privacy@getfairos.com

We may need to verify your identity and authority before fulfilling a request.

If information is controlled by an Event Operator, we may refer the request to or coordinate with that Event Operator.

13. California Privacy Rights

California residents may have additional rights under California privacy laws.

To the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (“CCPA”), applies to FairOS's processing of your personal information, applicable rights may include:

  • Right to Know/Access: the right to request information about personal information collected, used, or disclosed;
  • Right to Delete: the right to request deletion of certain personal information, subject to exceptions;
  • Right to Correct: the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information;
  • Right to Opt Out: where applicable, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information;
  • Right to Limit Certain Uses of Sensitive Personal Information: where applicable under California law; and
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: the right not to receive unlawful discriminatory treatment for exercising applicable privacy rights.

As described above, FairOS does not sell personal information for monetary consideration and does not operate FairOS: Compete as an advertising marketplace.

California residents may submit applicable requests to:

privacy@getfairos.com

We will verify and respond to requests as required by applicable law.

You may also use an authorized agent where permitted by law. We may require verification of the agent's authority and, where legally permitted, verification of your identity.

14. Information About Minors and Privacy Requests

A parent, legal guardian, or other legally authorized representative may contact us concerning personal information associated with a minor.

We may require reasonable verification of:

  • the requester's identity;
  • the identity of the child or participant involved; and
  • the requester's authority to act on that person's behalf.

Because information may form part of an official event or transaction record, deletion requests may be subject to legal or operational exceptions.

15. International Processing

FairOS is based in the United States and primarily provides Services for organizations and users in the United States.

If you access the Services from another jurisdiction, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

Where required, we will use appropriate mechanisms for international data transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect:

  • changes to our Services;
  • changes to our information practices;
  • changes to service providers;
  • legal or regulatory developments; or
  • operational improvements.

When we update the Policy, we will revise the version or effective date.
